Fotos for Funds is a consortium of photographers who are dedicated to giving back to the community through their art. The idea for Fotos for Funds was conceived by retired social worker, Peggy Dervitz, and developed in collaboration with Diane E. Israel, owner of Essex Fine Arts Gallery.

The members of the consortium offer calendars, note cards, fine art prints and specialty items made from the original photographs. All of the profits will be donated to charity. Individuals may specify the charity of their choice. Organizations may wish to purchase items as a fundraising project.

Fotos for Funds will introduce its members and their work to the public at a fundraising exhibition and reception to be held at the Essex Fine Arts Gallery on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 6 to 9 PM. All of the proceeds from the sale of photographs, calendars and note cards will be donated to the Montclair Salvation Army.
